Something ‘bad’ happens, and you react. But not in a bad way; it’s positive. How do you feel?
I feel smug. Chuffed, I give myself a metaphorical pat on the back; like that time somebody stole my bike and I smiled.
Call it stoic, call it a Jim Rohn philosophy education, it’s something I strive for. The big moments are easy — like having a bike stolen — but it’s the hard little fuckers that count.
Then I always look down on people who have bad reactions ’cause I can rationally predict my future behaviour in their exact circumstances down to a T.
