“We noticed…”

In an email from a company whose product I once used: “We noticed you haven’t [used our product] recently…”

Recently. I haven’t touched it in 3 years. Algorithms are great (“Send to all customers who haven’t visited us in over 3 months”), but unless you put the effort in, they're lousy.

Address my case, or don’t email me at all. Scale the unscalable.
